We also want to remind you of our upcoming livestream on Twitch, scheduled for June 22nd. The creativity is flowing as we collaboratively build the final map for the free encounter giveaway, Wyrd and Wild West. So far, the wonderful Twitch community has voted for a haunted saloon situated in an abandoned ghost town. This forsaken town, known as Snappersville, features a nearby farm where the solitary train servicing the area makes a pit stop for resupply. The eerie saloon at the heart of it all bears the name "The Brass Buckle". We are immensely grateful to our streaming community for their contributions in shaping this adventure.

Mark your calendars for another exciting event on Friday, June 23rd, at 12 noon. We will be conducting a complete book tour live on stream, providing an in-depth glimpse into the treasure trove that is Ultramodern 5. Get ready to dive into the pages and explore all the magnificent possibilities that await.

We can't stress enough how excited we are to get our toolkit and adventures into the hands of the incredible GMs out there. Our next one is ambitious and bound to get the adrenaline pumping - expanding the universe of “Threshold.” This is one of our new campaign settings where you'll be grappling with the cold, unforgiving depths of space, scavenging ancient wrecks for precious resources, and managing a diverse
crew, while slowly unraveling the mysteries that await you in the cosmic void. Your support can make this universe richer and more immersive.

In other news, the poll to name the central city in “CloneFall” is still open, but as of now, "DeltaHaven" is in the lead. Will another name swoop in for the win, or is DeltaHaven destined to be the bustling heart of our cyberpunk caper? Time will tell!

Stay vigilant for our next poll, launching
tomorrow. This poll is your chance to leave your mark by naming an essential character in the story – a savvy hacker adept at erasing digital VIN numbers from stolen cybernetic parts. This character is an ingenious scam artist, especially adept at duping the high society residents in the Green District. By peddling them fraudulent kitchen software for their automated cooking systems, under the pretense that it’s designed by the famed chef Augusto Armand, hilarity ensues. The software actually wreaks culinary chaos – recycling wastewater into the meals, oversalting, and so much more. The funny part is that most victims are too embarrassed to complain, attributing the culinary disasters to Chef Armand's genius, and merely believe their taste buds need training!

We are beyond excited to continue this adventure with all of you. Your creativity and passion are the driving forces behind everything we do.

Hello, amazing backers and soon-to-be backers!

Wow, we are so close to our goal. Can you all taste it? I certainly can. The intoxicating sounds of plasma rifles, the crisp smells of gunsmoke, and the eerie aura of unexplored worlds are just about ready to intermingle with the clattering of dice at your gaming tables.

If you've been hesitating, there's no time like the present! Hop on board the Ultramodern train. With only $5000 left to reach our goal, the dream of unlimited D&D for you and your players is within reach. Beyond the realms of sword and sorcery, countless new worlds await.

I’m thrilled to announce that two of the four new adventures are already penned down and just need some fine-tuning through playtesting - “Madness at Megalowmart” and “Echoes of Noa 94”. We also have an exciting poll up where you can help us shape the narrative of the cyberpunk heist adventure “Clonefall”. In the coming days, there will be more polls and opportunities to vote on names, places, and even NPCs. Take charge of your adventure by casting your votes now!

In other news, we wanted to clarify something regarding the GM screen. Yes, it is indeed a tangible, physical add-on! Crafted from sturdy board, it’s robust enough to put an unruly dice in its place if it dares to roll a natural one (though at DEM games, we advocate for using a wood chipper as a more efficient method - but maybe not in practice ).

Meanwhile, Chris is tirelessly hammering away at his keyboard in the writer’s room. I've had to practically drag him outside to remind him what the sun looks like. On my end, I've been dabbling in some live-streaming. After battling some initial technical gremlins, we managed to get the stream running smoothly.

A particular highlight from the chat has been an idea for an encounter dubbed “The Saloon of Lost Souls”. Picture a ghost town, its buildings weathered and consumed by nature. At the heart of this ghost town stands a saloon, miraculously intact. Some nights, as the trains whiz past, passengers swear they can hear the lilting melodies of yesteryears and see flickering lights through the windows of the saloon. This encounter will be released for free, and I'll continue developing it during live streams. Don't miss this chance to have a direct impact on the encounter and map-making!
