Leather REVEALED!

Hey everyone.
I have some news to share. I got pallets ready to ship. I admit this took longer than expected, but It’s nice seeing the goal on the horizon for those waiting on physical books.
I also have a video showing off the leather edition. I wasn’t aware the sprayed “UM5” edge would be on every surface, so that’s a cool thing.

Once I have an ETA for distribution delivery, I will share that. Thanks, everyone.
OH, and I know I received a “file update” email from DTRPG concerning Ultramodern5. This is not a modification to any file. A user created an Excel spreadsheet for character creation and I added that to the list. Nothing major, but I thought it was cool.

THE DELAYED JUNE UPDATE
– Mon, Jun 24, 2024 at 10:32:41 PM
HEY EVERYONE
Sorry for the delay. I know I promised to do an update once a month, but I was away on business trips off and one for the past few weeks, and typing out an update on a 10” 10-year-old netbook is quite the chore.
THE SPINE IS BACK
I believe I might have mentioned that we were told by Round Color that the Ultramodern5 sprayed edge was not going to work. Good news on that front--the logo sprayed edge is back, but it will look a tad different than the digital renders had estimated.
The digital render…
The actual sprayed edge…
ADVENTURES
We are polishing "Madness at The Megalomart" and finishing the playtesting on “Bad News In Barkerville.” Now, that is a temporary title, but we will be employing the town name in some capacity. This is replacing the title for The Phantom Stage (the actual campaign isn’t changing) because, at the time, we weren’t sure we were going to be able to use the name Barkerville.
Well, it turns out we can.
THRESHOLD
As I might have mentioned, the Threshold adventure I am designing has exploded in scope and size. It won’t be one book but two on the same SKU. One is the narrative artbook, and the second is the RPG. I have given Nick Greenwood carte blanche to do anything he wants in any style he wants. These sketches are obviously rough…
But I do like where his imagination is going…
Obviously, book printing is taking longer than expected, likely compounded by the leather wraps, spray edges, pressed embossing, and lenticular panels for the Amethyst Kickstarter being printed at the same time.
The point is progress is being made. I promise I won’t leave you all high and dry again.

Echoes of Noa 94 Released
– Mon, May 06, 2024 at 11:54:42 AM
Hey everyone!
Just want to let you know that our first adventure, Echoes of Noa 94, has been released.
I have sent coupons through the Backerkit system. Please check your downloads page or your email for the information.
Thanks for your patience, and I am happy to report we are already nearly finished with the next two,
Madness at the Megalomart (also written by William Miller) and
Threshold (written by me).
The latter is undoubtedly going to be unusual in its approach, as I’m pushing it to be more of a narrative artbook with RPG elements rather than a full-on adventure. This is inspired by the TTA books by Stewart Cowley, so I wanted to recreate that aesthetic and theme. Nick Greenwood is coming on board as the solitary artist to accomplish what I hope to be the first of a series of transcendent adventures that can be approached for their artistic value as much as their gameplay value.
So far, of the 65,000 words written, over 44,000 explores the setting through in-universe reports, transcripts, and logs. It is being presented as an archeological account of the extinct human race through the eyes of an alien historian thousands of years in the future. It is meant to mix cosmic horror with space opera, and I found the challenge exciting. So, I hope readers get as much enjoyment reading it as I did writing it. I am almost done with the book, but it may take a while for Nick to complete all the illustrations he wants to offer.
I'll have another update on the physical books very soon.

Back so soon!

Hey again, everyone!
I’m back again with another update.
FOUNDRY VTT
Yesterday, we released the early access files for the Foundry VTT. Today, we sent out the coupons for backers to acquire these files. The playtest files included with Ultramodern5 will no longer be updated—this new sku will become the final release.
TOURING AMETHYST REVELATIONS
For those wishing to take a look at our newest release, check out the video below:
BOOKS IN PRINT
– Sun, Apr 14, 2024 at 10:14:45 AM
HEY EVERYONE!
Sorry for the delay. I wanted to have confirmation before writing this update.
The books are in print!
That’s right, books are being printed as you read this. As mentioned previously, we’re printing Amethyst and Ultramodern at the same time. This will save us money on shipping as the whole run will be taking up an entire container. I honestly don’t know how long this is going to take, as we’re printing four different books and two different GM screens. I'll have videos showing the production the moment Round Color sends them to me.
AMETHYST REVELATIONS
With the announcement that printing has begun, it would then make sense that Amethyst: Revelations, the latest installment in the RPG series, would be finished.
…and it is!
I got the final works from Nick Greenwood this week, so I can happily report that the digital PDF release of Amethyst Revelations will be on Thursday, April 18th.

I'll have a video up this week going through the book, page by page, discussing the content, the illustrations, and the processesfrom inspiration to realization.

ULTRAMODERN FOUNDRY EARLY ACCESS RETAIL
MEANWHILE, the early access retail release for the Ultramodern5 Foundry module goes live this Tuesday, April 16th. While we will keep the playtest files in the UM5 DriveThruRPG SKU, they will no longer be updated. The new SKU will be updated regularly from here on. Obviously, those who backed the new Ultramodern5 campaign will receive this module for free. Everyone else who purchased UM5 will be receiving a coupon. We’ll be moving on to Amethyst’s module shortly.
ADVENTURE STATUS
I am writing Threshold now. Echoes of Noah 94 is finished and waiting on a couple of illustrations. Madness at the Megalomart is also nearing completion. I’m looking for artists who can draw spaceships, so if you are one or know of one, let me know.
I’ll have another update in a few days! Thanks, everyone!
